Frozen Toys

It's kind of hard to play with some of these toys when they're frozen solid!

Wanna Come Out and Play?

Wanna come out and play?

Good.  I could use some help.  You see, first we got some freezing rain/sleet here, then snow fell on top of it.  What does that mean?

It means my toys are frozen to the ground.

Maybe I can paw it out.  No, that's not working.

Maybe I can pull it out with my teeth.  That's not working either.  I need to get down to the same level.

Someone please come help! The snow is still falling, soon it will disappear!

Pictures from the Storm

Don't let the pictures fool you, that's sleet making our yard white, not snow!  The sleet is still coming down.  The snow isn't supposed to start until later.  I went outside to run around, but those ice pellets hurt when they hit you in the face!

If you look close on this picture of the table you can see the sleet bouncing around as it falls.

Here Comes My Kind of Weather

The past two days I got to spend some time in the sunshine at the dog park.  The weather was great!  (and I helped rescue two runaway huskies).  Unfortunately I didn't get any pictures.
Today is a different story.  It started out rainy, we've seen sleet, and we're supposed to get ice and snow.  This is my kind of weather.  Stay tuned for snow pictures!

Wanna Go for a Walk?

I get pretty excited when I hear those magical words, "wanna go for a walk?".  Sometimes when asked, I even have a vocal answer.  And of course it's important to stretch first.

It's also important to check the conditions outside before you go.  I've learned how to get a good peek, even when the blinds are closed.

The Dog Park is Tiring

We went to the dog park today.  It wore me out.

I decided to take a break and lay in a giant mud puddle.  My white fur was brown with caked on mud.  Unfortunately there are no pictures to prove it, but let's just say it required a spray down with the hose in the yard when we got home.  The whole experience wore me out.  So I'm going to take a nap.

I Miss the Snow

The temperatures have been above freezing for the past few days, which means the Christmas Eve snow is finally starting to melt.  Luckily we still have a bit of it left in the yard where it doesn't get much sun.

So for now, I'm going to hoard what's left.

I will dig in it and burry my face in the small pile that's still here.

And I will eat snow cones!

Oh how I LOVE snow cones!

Watching TV

Usually when my humans are watching TV, this is what I am doing.

I'm not really interested in television...

until "The Dog Whisperer" comes on!  I love that show.

I'm Dog Tired!

We've had company at our house since Saturday.  They wore me out!  They headed back to Missouri this morning to beat the bad weather that's headed their way.  This is what I did all day.

By the way, that's me yawning...check out that tongue!

My Other New Friend

Here's me and my other new friend.  We like to cozy up by the fire.

My friends are leaving tomorrow, then I'll be bored again. :-\  Maybe she'll write about me on her blog.

I Have a New Friend

We have visitors at our house.  I've made new friends.

He may not openly admit it, but he likes me.  :)
