Summer has Arrived

Summer is here, and so is the hot weather.  It's been in the upper 90s all week.  My humans bought me a new pool (my old one sprung a leak)!

Hey Strangers!

Sorry, I don't have any new photos to show you.  My owner's camera isn't working right now.  I just wanted to let my faithful readers know that I'm still here... and I have a birthday coming up!  I'm turning three (which I guess in dog years means it's the big 21...Look out tequila shots!).  It's not for another two weeks, but I wanted to give everyone a heads up so they could prepare and send gifts if they were so inclined.  :)

I'm Going to be Lonely

I spent the weekend at the doggie hotel.  They always give me a bath and dress me up with a bandana when it's time to go home.

This time it was a St. Pat's scarf.  I was being shy when it came to taking a picture.

Meanwhile, my mom is going back to work today.  I'm going to be lonely now.  I got used to her being home and taking me to the dog park a lot!

It's a Bird, It's a Plane...

I sometimes bark at the neighbors.  I bark when I want to come inside.  But I also bark at weird things flying through the sky.  Yesterday I got caught barking at something I've never seen before.

Learning to Talk

Well we all know I can bark, and I can howl with the best of them...but my humans find it necessary to teach me to talk.  They're trying to teach me to say "I love you."  I'm 2/3 of the way there.

Super Bowl? What Super Bowl?

There was a big game on TV today, but I'm not talking about the Super Bowl.  This game was huge, and it definitely captured my attention.

That's right, ladies and gentlemen...Puppy Bowl VI was on today.

It was a good game, despite all the penalties.

In the end, I think the puppies won.

Don't get me started on the kitty half-time show, though.  It was a bore.

Yuck!

I don't get people food often, so when I do, I eat it up.  However, today I learned there is one thing I do NOT like.

 It seems harmless enough, so I give it a sniff.

Smells okay.  I'll taste it.

And then I leave it.  Celery...yuck!  It needs some peanut butter.

The Snow is Starting to Melt

The snow from last week is starting to melt (finally!).  Luckily, before the sun came out I got a chance to play in it.  Here are a few pictures of me playing, and a look at the ice and snow.
